CWSOX45
http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/gen/wire?...sageId=16881499 Will he be able to go against us? I hope not. He's batting .300 for them and is one of their hottest hitters. CWSOX45

CWSOX45 With the swelling commonly associated with a broken nose the few days after it's broken, I doubt it

CubKilla
Had my nose broke three times. The first few days afterwards, all your eyes do is swell and water and your nose feels like if weighs 50 lbs. Not to mention the occasional splitting headache.

clujer420
The way that pitch hit him, he's lucky to only have a broken nose. It didn't look like he even tried to move -- deer in the headlights syndrome, I suppose.
southsider2k5
out of curiousity could he play with one of those hockey style masks that the NBA players use, or does it have to be a few days before those can be used?

Not to mention the occasional splitting headache. I had to have surgery on my adnoids years and years ago and that's what it felt like, too. The absolutely most unbearable and annoying pain in the world. Not to mention it knocked my balance off for a couple day's too. I'm guessing it's the same with a broken nose? rafacosta
In a soccer match i broke my nose and get out of the game, in soccer u should not play because u can´t use your head and soccer u use your head all the time. In baseball, i think that he can play but i´m willing to not.
