KENNY WILLIAMS

This thread is 1 last shoutout to Kenny Williams this season from me. Kenny Williams took a $75 million salary and found a way to destroy teams with salaries 2-3 times what we were shelling out.

Kenny Williams took a bunch of gigantic risks last offseason, probably put his job on the line, and he has champagne in his eyes tonight.

Kenny Williams did a job I thought no one anywhere could do.

Kenny Williams brought a World Series trophy to Chicago. And not just to Chicago, but to the South Side of Chicago.

Thank you Kenny. From the bottom of my heart. I had my doubts. I don't any more.

I've long thought KW was going to be the guy that helped bring a World Series to the city of Chicago and I'm so glad he did it.

This is a really great organization and its one thats in a position to make some consistent runs into the post-season. Lets hope this is just the start of something, but even if it is the finish...it was the sweetest finish ever!!!

To Ken Williams...2005 Executive of the Year (in our hearts and minds).

f*** Moneyball.

It's all about Kennyball.

He said he wasnt that smart yesterday.  Well then the only smarter man i know of is Einstein.

Ah, thanks for bringing up Moneyball. Now that I've celebtrated our victory, I can criticize Beane.

'Kennyball' exceeds 'Moneyball' in it's most important value--post season success.

Perhaps Michael Lewis may want to write a sequel detailing our success.

POSTSEASON SERIES VICTORIES BY WILLIAMS: 3

POSTSEASON SERIES VICTORIES BY BEANE: 0.

Maybe now we might actually keep some prospects lol. I love KW and his motto was winning a WS screw the future. But now we won it and its all thanks to him... but im looking forward to see some Sox prospects Gammons mentioned it the only guys we drafted that are on the team Crede, Buehrle, and Rowand.... I consider Garland 2 since he was with us practically his whole career.

KW you made me look good, thank you for that.

Every year I know that you are going to go out andt try to make something happen. That is all you can ask, and this year the biggest move you made was the ones you left on the table. The White Sox did not have to sell any of the future to win this year.

That is being a good GM, you win this year and set your team up for the next few years.

KW you the man.

I hated him early on and I was WRONG!

He had a vision. He is tremendous. Thanks Kenny for bringing a title to Chicago.

Sorry this poster doubted you at first, not that you care.

Good job Mr. Williams; you are perhaps the No. 1 reason Chicago's "jinx" has

ended once and for all in baseball.

You and Oz are heroes forever!

Anthrax...We're waiting.........

f***ing awesome job KW.  Can't do any better than this!  :cheers  :cheers  :cheers

don't worry about Anthrax...I thought I'd be pissed and shove it in the faces of everyone with a "choking" avatar if/when the Sox won, and now because THE WHITE SOX WON THE WORLD SERIES!! I couldn't care less about that. just remember,

THE WHITE SOX WON THE WORLD SERIES!!

(I'm never going to get tired of seeing that in print...never.)

We will get a 3-4 hitter... i have no f***ing doubt about it.

Depends if Konerko re-signs and they want to keep Dye in the #3 hole. On the basis on what Dye did in the post-season, it'd be hard to move him from there.

Most likely the #5 hole will be the incoming FA as the DH, although if Frank returns and they want him to hit in the 3 hole, then Dye would prob move back down to 5.
