Chris Duhon

MINNEAPOLIS -- Chicago Bulls guard Chris Duhon was taken to the hospital after crashing to the floor under the basket in the first quarter of Wednesday night's exhibition game against Minnesota.

Duhon was carried off the floor on a stretcher after being fouled by Eddie Griffin on a drive to the basket late in the period. Team officials said Duhon was conscious, had movement in his extremities and complained of a sore neck.

He was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center to be examined for a concussion. Preliminary tests showed nothing serious, but Duhon was being kept overnight for further observation.

"We're keeping our fingers crossed and hope he's OK," Chicago coach Scott Skiles said after the Bulls lost to the Timberwolves 100-92. "It's a blow to us for sure."

Duhon drove to the basket and had his shot blocked by Griffin. His momentum sent him crashing to the floor, and he landed on his rear first and then his head hit the floor.

In a scary moment, Duhon lay motionless for several minutes while being attended to by team doctors and medical staff. His teammates watched in anxious silence, then applauded as he was taken out of the arena.

The second-year player averaged 6.0 points and 4.9 assists a game for the Bulls in his rookie season.

The bulls ended up losing the game 100-92 and gordon continued to scrub it up shooting wise. His running the floor was shockingly good i was told. He has 10 assists and only one turn over. Both deng and sweetney had pretty solid games.

pffff ignore my thread will you :P

Anyways looks like Duhon's injury wasnt as serious as first though and im not worried about Ben... he sucked last pre-season 2 but its encouraging to see 10 assists.

Also Sweetney has been great this post-season and I think had his best game today... also Deng was awesome 2.

Iggy >>> Gordon.  :D

So if Duhon misses any time, does Gordon move to SG and Hinrich to PG?

Iggy>>> gordon...? Durrrrrrrrrrrrr...

To start the season both gordon and hinrich were gonna start and both be combo guards.

Does he have a shot yet?

Nope, he just excels in these areas:

Running The Court

Defending On The Ball

Pursuit Of The Ball

Cutting Off Passing Lanes

Passing

Rebounding

Rarely, if ever, can you compare a guy to a legend like Scottie Pippen, but I'd say that this comparison is valid.

Iggy ain't never gonna develop a decent shot, but he is still valuable beyond words. A true grinder. My kind of player.

On the other hand, Ben Gordon excels at street ball. Passing? Defense? Screw that, just give me the rock yo.

Iggy does all the little things that contribute to championships. Ben Gordon is a one-trick pony who is destined to be a New York Knick.

Unfair comparison.

PIP had a shot. Good form. I know you remember the bank shot and spot-up 3, among other things.

Iguodala can develop one. No excuses. I like him, and he's talented enough to do so.

And Ben looks like he worked hard during the off-season. I think his passing, and hopefully D, will be much-improved this year.
