heirdog Posted October 27, 2005 Share Posted October 27, 2005 My initial reaction was the same as Konerko's...I looked at the umpire and saw him begin to rear back with his right arm and then I put both arms forward and said a quiet "Yes" as my wife was sleeping it the other room (Yankees Fan...she's from NY and we live in NY). I then proceeded to jump up and down in slow motion...again very quietly...adding to the whole surreal effect as if I were in a dream and couldn't talk or move in regular speed.
