maki
streets are already blocked apparently. i guess the moral of the story is get there quick if you're wanna be at lasalle and wacker. we're probably gonna hit the parade and run up to his office and watch the rally out the window and listen on tv. HuskyCaucasian
why dont broadcast TV stations stream their stuff all the time? I would think it's a great way to reach a market where people are at work or not near a TV.

Greg Hibbard
I just came in on the Green Line. As I was pulling into Clark and Lake, I took a gander north to Wacker/LaSalle....pretty much completely packed as of 9:24. By noon, it'll be hopeless. My advice is to catch the parade further south. I'm not sure you'll be able to see much of the rally. Why didn't they do this at Grant Park?

Much of Grant Park is closed and being used for other things doing to the fact that winter is right around the corner. They didn't think they could get everything set up in time. You'd think that when we made the World Series, they'd actually consider the possibility that we might actually win it and plan accordingly.
