Dam8610
Is there any chance the Jays somehow don't resign Rios and the Sox end up with him? Also, any chance the Sox get one of the big name releivers?

Kalapse
QUOTE(Dam8610 @ Oct 28, 2005 -> 07:00 PM) Is there any chance the Jays somehow don't resign Rios and the Sox end up with him? Also, any chance the Sox get one of the big name releivers? I think you're confusing Alex Rios with Armando Rios. Alex isn't even eligible for arbitration yet, Armando on the other hand is a free agent however we've already had him and I really don't wanna go through that again. Yes I was confusing the 2, and no, I don't want Armando again.

knightni
Depending on the $$ involved, I'd be interested in Piazza as a backup catcher with AJ and part time DH with Frank.

I'm pretty sure Piazza is done as a catcher. He only threw out like 3 baserunners this year.
