Kid Gleason
QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Nov 1, 2005 -> 01:59 AM) ^ Bullet with Butterfly Wings Still a terrible name for a song. Decent song though, but such a terrible name. I was always bummed that they didn't push "Here Is Know Why" from that album, as that was by far the best song on that, and a bit of killer song writing. Love the changes into the chorus.

hammerhead johnson
QUOTE(RockRaines @ Nov 1, 2005 -> 05:15 PM) Yellow Ledbetter I never could understand what the f*** Eddie was saying on that one. Hey, Rock is a Pearl Jam fan. How about that? I was a huge fan back in the 90s, but I haven't really felt like listening to any of their albums for a good 5 years now. I have some bootlegs with good unreleased songs performed live. Eddie is just moaning and uttering gibberish, kind of like on "Yellow Ledbetter". But it sounds good, real goooood. Kyyle23
I lost Pearl Jam after 10. It was strange too, Pearl jam and Stone Temple Pilots were basically presented as one and the same by MTV, and it didnt help that their singles (Plush and Jeremy) had a very similar sound and vocals, and their albums also had a similar grunge feel to them. But when they released their sophomore albums, Purple just grabbed me so much more than VS did. From then on, I just had a mental block for Pearl Jam that I couldnt remove. The accapella version of that track with only isolated bass here and there. I have three different 12" singles for that song. I have damn near 30 Rakim singles altogether, actually. I'm a major vinyl nerd. Edited November 1, 2005 by hammerhead johnson
