Jimbo's Drinker
Orioles signed first baseman Leo Daigle to a minor league contract. Daigle put up some of the best numbers in the minors over the first half of last season, but he did so as a 25-year-old in the Carolina League. When the White Sox tried him in Triple-A, he hit .220 with two homers in 91 at-bats. He was then returned to Single-A Winston-Salem, where he finished up with a .341/.414/.637 line and 29 homers in 411 at-bats. Now 26, he hardly qualifies as a prospect. Whether he plays at Double- or Triple-A next year will depend on what happens with Walter Young.

DBAHO
QUOTE(whitesox91403 @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 11:51 PM) No, that's Casey Daigle, a pitcher with Arizona or TB or something like that. That's why he put the forest green tag in after his sentence.

Heads22
Any reason the Orioles have a lust over our Single-A journeymen?

Chisoxfn
Best of luck to him. I don't think he'll ever turn into much of a major leaguer, but hopefully he'll be able to get to the majors and stick. From all I heard he was a good character guy.
