SoxFanForever
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2211811 CINCINNATI -- Carl Lindner agreed Wednesday to sell the controlling interest in the Cincinnati Reds to a group of area businessmen, keeping baseball's first professional franchise in local hands. The group is headed by Robert Castellini, chairman of a Cincinnati-based produce company, and relatives of a family that owned the team when it became the Big Red Machine in the 1970s. The sale must be approved by Major League Baseball.

Punch and Judy Garland
Their new ownermight not have a lot of influence over what happens with the Reds and their outfield situation, but there is a chance that a guy comes in and moves Griffey somewhere (or tries to)
southsider2k5
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Nov 3, 2005 -> 04:46 PM) Griffey is ours! I would drop the green. I could really see this happening. Seriously.
DBAHO
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Nov 4, 2005 -> 01:54 PM) I would drop the green. I could really see this happening. Seriously. Depends how desperate the new ownership is to dump payroll I suppose. Of course signing players like Eric Milton got them into that mess in the 1st place.
