Jamie Burke

That funky motion

Rangers signed catcher-infielder Jamie Burke to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training.

Burke should get himself a World Series ring after going 0-for-1 in six days with the White Sox in May. He spent far more of 2004 on the club's roster and hit .333/.386/.408 in 120 AB. The Rangers don't figure to carry the 34-year-old as a bench player, but he's a rather handy guy to have stashed away in Triple-A. Nov. 3 - 4:19 pm et

They must like our old catchers. :P

Oh yeah, weren't the boards a fun place the day after that.  :bang

I still think that was a f***ing bush play to the day. I got so pissed when Thriller didnt drill Hunter right in the f***in back after that.

Meh, so be it. Sox won this year, Twins didn't. I'm cool.

Please. Remind me of that season anymore, you will not. After that incident, everything went down the drain.

Though this year makes up for all of that crap. :cheers
