CWSGuy406
http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/columnists/askba.html I'd recommend you read this disclaimer, first: That is not my top 20 prospect list for 2006. It's part of a presentation I made at Ron Shandler's First Pitch Arizona symposium. It's my ranking of the top 20 prospects (based on their long-term career) who I believe will get their first significant major league playing time in 2006. Big difference. If you could edit the intro, that would be great. and Again, that list is not an overall top prospect list. Just top prospects among guys who should get a lot of big league playing time in 2006. For almost anyone you'd be surprised he wasn't on there, he probably made my 2007 list. Damn, the Diamondbacks are loaded. Jackson and Drew are going to be spectacular, Quentin has had awesome numbers throughout his whole minor league career (lowest OPS = .937), and if Upton pans out down the road... This team could be a force.

This team could be a force. Yep they are absolutely LOADED with top tier position prospects. Hell, Stephen Drew could be their opening day SS in 2006 depending on what happens with Royce Clayton. With Josh Byrnes saying he wants to improve their middle infield D though, with Drew still not that great defensively, I doubt it will happen, but it's an option. Still with all of their prospects, they'd want to improve their young pitching stocks.
aboz56
2. Prince Fielder, 1b, Brewers Legitimate 40-homer threat makes Lyle Overbay expendable I'd like to see Overbay looked at, regardless of whether or not we keep PK. If we keep Konerko, I'd consider Overbay as a full-time DH and someone who can also play 1B and give Konerko a few starts at DH.
