A--1,107.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Game Story ZEBULON, North Carolina (Ticker) -- Darron Ingram hit a three-run homer to lead the Birmingham Barons past the Carolina Mudcats, 5-2. Ingram, who finished 2-for-4, crushed his fourth homer of the season in the top of the eighth inning to snap a 2-2 tie. Chad Durham also finished with a pair of hits for Birmingham, including a two-run double in the second frame. Jim Bullard (1-1) retired one batter to pick up the win for the Barons, who have won nine of their last 10 contests. Chris Ashby hit an RBI single and Wilson Valdez added a run-scoring triple in the seventh inning to tie the score at 2-2 for Carolina. Marty McCleary (0-1) surrendered three runs and four hits in four innings to suffer the loss for the Mudcats, who fell to 1-3 when tied after seven innings.
