Steve Bartman's my idol
DOes anyone else think that we could probably get Durazo relatively cheap? He's be a great replacement for Everett, IF healthy.
AddisonStSox
Durazo's going to get a long, hard look from the White Sox...for better or worse.
Kyyle23
Doesnt he have a problem with staying injured?
bulokis
QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Nov 12, 2005 -> 11:43 AM) Doesnt he have a problem with staying injured? Same problem with Dye. I think he could be a good fit especially if Paulie is back.
DBAHO
QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Nov 13, 2005 -> 04:43 AM) Doesnt he have a problem with staying injured? 154 games in 2003 and 142 games in 2004 overlooking his injury this season. Perfect "sign low" candidate. .919 OPS in 2004 remember.
Milkman delivers
What was his injury last year? And whatever it is, does it sound like something that could be nagging?

Milkman delivers
And does it sound like he'll have trouble coming back from this? I know it's a big thing to get that surgery, and it can be hit-or-miss with pitchers, but does it usually have a big effect on hitters? SnB
Durazo is a very realistic option for this team this offseason. I'm sure kenny has bigger plans, but if things fall through, i would have no problem giving durazo a shot, he's a very capable guy and won't have too many pursuers this offseason. supernuke
I really hope that Durazo would only be considered as a last resort. I think we should be looking at someone more versitile rather than a DH only player. If we are going for a DH only I would rather have Frank back. Tomorrow's Promise
Hey guys well this is my first ever post! Well this is my dream lineup. Podsednik Iguchi Dye Konerko Durazo Rowand Pierzynski Crede Uribe If we can't get Durazo than we should get pierre. and move Dye to DYE. White Sox Josh
He is a hack on defense. I would rather have Frank. But he does have some pop and i think he bats left handed.

White Sox Josh
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Nov 12, 2005 -> 08:07 PM) That is why he would DH. what about Matt LeCroy? He would be great off the bench.

We need someone who can hit better off righties since we weren't very good at all against them. LeCroy's splits against righties; .228/.319/.322 I tend to think LeCroy will end up elsewhere anyways.
