I’ll be tuning in to this game and the Cowboys @ Eagles.

Thank you for keeping us informed on your whereabouts. This information will come in handy when we are all flipping through the channels this evening and wondering what Yoda is up to. :D

I'll be watching this game, and then I'll probably check out some porn after my wife goes to sleep. :)

I wouldn't be surprised to see Pietrus start. If not tonight, he'll be starting soon.

Dunleavy has been s*** - His new contract must be on his mind..

Poor Junior..

Dunleavy has been dreadful. More than half of his shots have been 3 pointers, and he's hitting them at a rate of 19%.

Field Goals: 15 for 61 (24%)

3 Pointers: 6 for 31 (19%)

Minutes Per Game: 30

This is not to mention that he has just as many turnovers as assists (14). And it goes without saying that he is just an unbelievably lousy defender. How can you give this guy a 5 year extension, especially with Pietrus in the picture? Chris Mullin ain't no Larry Bird. That is for god damn sure.

Quick question. I'm not gonna be at my house with the NBA package tonight (gonna be at my moms instead) and she gets NBA TV and I saw the Bulls game is slated to be on there.

Anyone know if I'll be able to get the game or will it be blacked out. I assume I'll be able to get the game, but just was gonna check and see for sure.

Not exactly on this game's topic, but it's the correct state...

The Sacramento Kings were fined $30,000 by the NBA on Monday for showing derogatory images of Detroit on video screens prior to their home opener against the Pistons.

When the Pistons were introduced Nov. 8, the Arco Arena scoreboard flashed pictures of abandoned buildings, burned-out cars, piles of rubble and other negative images of Detroit. The Pistons won the game 102-88.

The Kings apologized that night and owners Joe and Gavin Maloof bought full-page ads that ran in The Detroit News and Detroit Free Press, expressing "great respect for Detroit's long and rich tradition as a landmark American city and the incredibly positive impact the Motor City has made over the course of our country's history."

I think the thing that frustrates me most about the NBA is the officiating. There are so few good refs. Now I know certain officals are going to call the game differently, but there are so few crews that are consistent. Set the tone early and call it the same way for 4 quarters. (Steps off soap box)

Go Bulls!

Tiago Splitter

Birthdate: 1/1/85

NBA Position: Power Forward

Ht: 6-11

Wt: 236

Int Team: Tau Vitoria

Hometown: Blumenau, Brazil

ACB Stats

NBA comparison: Pau Gasol

Strengths: In 3 years will surely be a top 5 player internationally, he has the typically strong Brazilian offense game. He's a scorer, and can shoot from everywhere on the court. He plays one-on-one very well, has nice moves around the basket where he usually finishes with power plays. He has excellent mobility and great foot work for a player his size. He already has more international experience than Nene and Anderson combined. His future is at the SF position, so you can imagine the troubles that a 6-11 guy can cause in this situation. It's possible that he is not finished growing!

Weaknesses: His body still very weak to play the PF position. He has problems defending stronger guys and playing post up on offense, has to improve his timing on rebounds and his patience on defense. His defense can improve a lot playing in Europe and his body will certainly develop.

Notes: Made the Brazilian National team as a 17 years old and competed in the 2002 World Championships in Indianapolis. Very athletic player. Prefers to play on the outside. Shies away from contact. A bigtime scorer. Somewhat similar to Kirilenko with his rangy frame. Has a ways to go skill-wise.

-Vinicius Fontana

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OFFENSIVE SKILLS: A right-handed player with a great amount of technical and physical skills. His best virtue is his versatility. He can play in the paint where he has excellent agility and coordination and some developing post moves. He also has the ability to step out on the perimeter, where he has an acceptable medium and long range shot. He can handle the ball and take players off the dribble to the rim. However the team prefers him to stay in the paint, where he is playing more often.

DEFFENSIVE SKILLS: Tiago has a very intimidating body. He's a tough defender and is a good rebounder, on both sides of the court. He can block shots. He has great concentration while he defends and it shows that he has a good attitude while he defends and a mature player.

PHISYCAL CHARACTERISTICS: A very athletic player with well defined muscles, because of this he's physical both defensively and offensively. He is very quick running the floor on fast breaks.

WEAKNESSES: He has to improve his free, medium and long distance shot. He has to become better at finishing. Defensively he must control his intensity and not get into foul trouble.

Do they call this the circus road trip becuase what invades the United Center every november or becaue the Bulls play like clowns?

Well this was only the 1st game and they were just having a horrible shooting night.... so im still reserving judgement until we are 10-15 games into the season...

I think there was a point in that game in which 5 offensive fouls were called in a row, it really was a poorly officiated game. That being said, the Bulls offense completely sucked. Hard game to watch, the Warriors basically ran them right off the court.
