Chisoxfn
Jarret Jack is looking good. That blocking call on Deng's drive is a makeup call for what should of been goaltending.
Chisoxfn
Qwerty, any ideas for some low post guys that could be out there (either via trade or FA). I'm curious already and you are the "Chisoxfn" proclaimed Bball expert.
Chisoxfn
What crap, that should have been a back court violation. Instead Portland gets a 3.

qwerty
Trailblazers 11-12 free throw wise... probally the worst team in the nba at that aspect. We will fould out by early third and have to forfeit.

I guess Wilcox wouldn't be too bad and Gooden has good low post moves (But he's not much of a defensive player), but aside form those two none of them can do anything in the post as far as I'm concerned. Meaning the Bulls best option may be via trade.

No they don't, but the Bulls shouldn't just give out a big contract to someone, they need to find one that fits and, imo, while all of those guys are solid, none of them will fill the scoring need from the low post. The thing is they might have to shell out a big contract I mean look at what guys like Foyle get. Hell even Gadzuric got paid. Chisoxfn
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Nov 16, 2005 -> 07:40 PM) The thing is they might have to shell out a big contract I mean look at what guys like Foyle get. Hell even Gadzuric got paid. I wonder if they could get something for a package starting with Tim Thomas' expiring contract. I'd think it would have some value, especially if the Bulls could find a low post guy that they saw potential in (that was paid well already, maybe too well) but that the Bulls thought they could turn into something. Than again that could be a waste of what would be FA cap room this off-season. I'm just not convinced that too many of these guys are going to hit the FA market. Obviously Peja would, but I still don't know how much better that makes the Bulls.
Chisoxfn
Well that or they could get a good pick from the Knicks and turn that into a solid low post player.

Then we grab a Shelden Williams or Tiago Splitter. Or maybe even low enough to get Aldridge or Bargnani. While he defense is not great he can play solid enough defense against small fowards. Once he gets matched up against power forwards he is f***ed. Yes you are probably right, more just throwing out the names of big men at this point since we have no idea where the Bulls will be drafting. I agree with that, I just tend to think the wing/guard positions are a strenght of the Bulls. That said I realize Peja would be the Bulls best player (I guess Hinrich could be a better player by this time next year). However, I hate not playing Deng because I think he has the ability to be a very good all around player. I'm of the thought that Gordon will not develop into more than a 6th man (and the best 6th man ever to say the least). Its not a knock, I just think he's such a good scorer that teams will utilize him later in the game and work him in early on and give him short quick bursts of minutes where he can focus all his energy into scoring. That said, he is one of the few players in this league that if he could figure everything together, he could turn into an AI type player (although I highly doubt he'll ever be that good). Chisoxfn
f*** the NBA. I'm sick of this tick tack bulls***. They are doing everything in there power to ruin basketball. Screw you commissioner stern. Let the teams play for cripes sake.
qwerty
Soxfan101... what you think about the officiating a couple weeks through now?
Chisoxfn
They call everything tick tack, but when Duhon goes into the backcourt and grabs the ball, Miles comes in and grabs his arm away and than gets a fast break foul and free throws. JOKE I hate b****ing about refs, but this is f***ing garbage. The Golden State game was called s***ty (for both teams) in the sense that every touch foul is getting called. The NBA continues to do everything in there power to create these offensive juggernauts that they deem better for ratings, yet they are worse for basketball. F and thats too nice. It is a total joke. I only watch Bulls and Lakers games for the most part, but I've been watching a bit more basketball this year (outside of those two teams) and I'm sick of this piss poor crap.
