AngelasDaddy0427
Fact is that Anderson proved to be nothing special.. It's unfair to expect him to hit anything more the .240 in full time duty... However his defense isn't that horrible... That being said Pods shouldn't ever play CF... I mean he might not be as bad as Timo Perez but he still sucks it pretty hard...

RME JICO
I am wondering if all this press is another mental game that KW and Ozzie are playing. Obviously Rowand had a down year with the bat, and they are trying to leverage his performance to put a fire under him for next season. Maybe to workout and fix his swing this winter so he strikeouts less, etc, etc. Very similar to how Crede's name kept coming up during the trading deadline, and then he turns it on in the 2nd half and post season. Is this even possible, or do you truely think Rowand is on the block?
Kalapse
Rowand currently has the most value of any expendable player on the roster. He is most likely on the block.
southsider2k5
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Nov 22, 2005 -> 03:19 PM) Rowand currently has the most value of any expendable player on the roster. He is most likely on the block. Plus with where the Sox depth is in their system, he might be the most easily "replaceable"

JoshPR
QUOTE(Wanne @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 05:11 PM) I've been thinking about this ever since I've been reading about Rowand being possible bait. I'm thinking for who. A few teams mentioned were the Yanks and I believe Marlins. What about if the Mets move Cameron...and KW was looking for a left hand stick...do you think the Mets would move Floyd? Just a rambling thought....but my original question...would people be ok with Pods moving to CF. I know this debate was rampant last year. Obviously his arm is much weeker (but not as week as OneDog's was). NO
