Soxy
Just wondering. And, if you picked food--make sure to tell us which one is your fave!
RockRaines
The food-I fast for a day before just to fill up as much as possible. I will be deep frying a 15 lb bird in my parents backyard, couple that with my sisters famous stuffing and we have a winner!!!!

The Critic
Not working got my vote. I could do without the visiting, I could REALLY do without the driving, the food's OK but not a deciding factor, and I don't care about football that much at all. If I could just get the 4-day weekend without the other stuff, I'd be set.
AddisonStSox
Oh gosh, this is a toughy. I'm just a serious softy when it comes to the hollidays. Eating all the great food, playing with my God-kids and watching football with a full stomach...nowhere else I'd rather be.
SnB
1) the food, college food can only get you by for so long. 2) not having to worry about classes and finals for a week.
Art Vandelay
Turkey is my favorite. White meat, dark meat. I really don't care. It's all good. Mashed potatoes are a guilty pleasure as well. Can never get enough of them. Put deviled eggs in that category too. Love 'em.
knightni
Gotta be the food. I volunteered to work Thursday afternoon/evening because I can get paid holiday pay to watch football on TV.

Mplssoxfan
Food, for sure. I cook every year and my italian sausage stuffing is fantastic. Football runs a close second.

Definately the food, with football and seeing my friends and family a close second (if it weren't for some of my family it may rank 1st, lol). Most important food groups of thanksgiving...Turkey, mashed potatoes, yams with brown sugar and marshmellows, scalloped corn, pumpkin pie....LEFTOVERS. BigEdWalsh
I voted for the FOOD. More often than not (though not this year) I've always had to work on Thanksgiving which has always sucked. That Thanksgiving signals the beginning of the Christmas season is cool but the older I get the less special it seems. I'm not that huge a football fan to be thrilled with whatever games are on TV. As for the food, I love it all, especially dark meat and the dressing. But the very best is desert. I love pumpkin pie and there's usually also peach, blueberry, pecan, strawberry-ruhbarb and mincemeat. And oh those late at night turkey sandwiches! RockRaines
Dont forget turkey naps, which are the best.
NUKE_CLEVELAND
I voted for other since there was no choice for all of the above. Throw out "seeing them leave at the end of the day" though cause its only twice a year ( Turkey day and Christmas ) that we all get together so its not cool to see everyone go their seperate ways when its all over.
