Texsox
Linkage VERNON, New Jersey (AP) -- New Jersey hunters take to the woods Monday for a controversial season aimed at thinning the state's growing population of black bears, whose hungry foraging has frightened suburban residents. Up to 5,000 hunters were expected to take part in the six-day hunt -- only the second in New Jersey in 35 years -- which begins at sunrise Monday. Rex Kickass
It's a huge issue here in the state by the way. I have a friend who works in Corzine's office and it's been non-stop calls all week about it.

Rex Kickass
After last night in the bar, I can confirm that it was indeed bear hunting season. I don't hunt. I respect hunting though - just not my thing.
