Scuff Posted December 14, 2005 Share Posted December 14, 2005 I think its wise by kenny to acquire a 6th strong starter for the rotation because lets remember that all these guys pitched more innings then they ever have last season (including postseason) and i think its a little naive to assume that the whitesox will be as fortunate as last season and have no major injuries to our starters....will be nice to have bmac waiting in the bullpen just in case....just my opinion... Who decided that 5 men was the be all end all set up for starting rotations in baseball? Why not 6? Maybe 6 man rotation will turn into the "new" thing in baseball. Doubtful simply because good teams are struggling to find #4's. I wouldn't mind us having 6 starters though and I wouldn't mind going with a 6 man rotation.
