SnB
What have you read, what have you liked? I read The Numbers Game this past summer and it was by far my favorite baseball book. It takes a unique approach to going over how baseball has evolved, focusing on the way stats have changed. I've been reading The Thinking Fan's Guide To Baseball on and off this semester. This book covers everything about baseball and is just a fun read.
Rex Hudler
Two very good baseball books that I believe would stand the test of time are: Men at Work, written by George F. Will The Mental Game of Baseball, written by H A Dorfman Edited December 15, 2005 by Rex Hudler
FlaSoxxJim
Strength Down the Middle ('59 White Sox) by Larry Kalas is excellent. It's almost a day by day reminiscence of the 1959 season from when the author was 10 years old or so.
Brian
"Ball Four" is a must read for every baseball fan. "Boys of Summer" or anything Richard Kahn writes is worth the time.
