But it's so much fun... LOL

Has your hook up ever gotten you up to the Bard's Room..? Food's OK (and free), but the perk is eating with Jerry and other investors. That's a good time.

He's not that good. Basically, he used to work in the ticket office. He has since moved to Orchestra Hall, but he still has all his buddies over there. So he just calls up and they pull tix for me.

Next time you go to the Bard's room, I'll be your date. Don't tell Jim.

I wonder if us new season ticket holders will be able to score any tickets.

Timing is a b**** sometimes...now I'm a freaking bandwagon fan who looks like they bought tix because they won the WS, when in reality I was planning on buying them this year regardless because it's the first year i can realistically afford to.

Yes I'm whining :crying

There is already a guy in there selling some club level tickets.

I know, but he's selling sets of 2 (looking for 4), and I was looking mostly for Saturday games (his one Saturday game listed I'm out of the country). Oh well. I'll have to see what I can scrounge up in the spring.

Don't make Tony cry.

Well, worse comes to worse, i have 4.

Plus, I can still hold hope for my ticket connection.  He has gotten us 8 in the club level the last 4 years...I wonder what will happen this year?  Starting to sound bad.

I will take some of those club level seats, you dont need them...

I feel the same way. But I've got my 27-game weekend plan, and it feels good to have it.

Yes I do only have two. I may be willing to work on the sturday games with you. Just let me know what you are looking for and I will get back to you. Just so you know ahead of time the cubs game is not available.

Whoa...you all laughed at me when I suggested that a while back.  But I hope were right Mike.

That was before they about doubled the season ticket base in 4 months time. Supposedly we were at 11K going into 2005, and we are now at about 20K. The increase in the season ticketbase is worth an extra 800,000 fans all by itself, without even getting into the excitement of fans buying single game tickets. If the figures are acurate, and I have no reason to believe they aren't, the Sox have sold about 1.6 million tickets before ANY single game tickets are on sale.
