The Colts should risk injury, because..?

The Bears could have taken care of business for themselves.  The Colts aren't required to do charity work for the Bears.

you know, they aren't required to, but it would be a nice gesture, ya know?

The Colts are even hanging with the Seattle starters with the mighty Jim Sorgi.

Well the Seahawks defense is tearing the Colts D to shreds. This game means nothing, but it should give the Seahawks at least some confidence that they can play with the Colts (even though we all know this isn't the Colts you'll see in the playoffs).

Score doesn't exactly show that, but all things considered, you could say that.

Resting starters, having nothing to play for, the unfortunate situation with Dungy's son---I'm fine with whatever the result may be today.

I'm confident the real Colts would have no problem hanging with Seattle.

Amen. Even as a Bears fan, I must say we blew our chance for the #1 seed by losing to the sorry ass Browns, losing 9-7 (nine to freaking 7!!) against Washington, being embarassed at Pitt, etc. Colts earned home field, they had the luxury of doing whatever they want.

Nothing happened, right after he scored, the ref was right on top of him so nothing could happen.  Although he was trying to get something to happen, but the ref was just telling him not to do anything.

Then he went over by the bench and threw gifts to the fans.

That was his original plan. I mean, he probably at first wanted a reindeer, but the NFL probably told him no, so he just brought the bag himself. He handed out autographed stuff and Bengals Division Champ stuff. Very very nice gesture.

That would have been the best TD celebration ever. My guess is he wanted to be Santa.
