SoxFan1
QUOTE(Tmar28 @ Dec 23, 2005 -> 07:41 PM) haha man you just don't learn. since this thread has been about irony. i'm definitely a homer to say that a 3-time pro bowler is actually good? i back up how a pro bowler does not suck and you back up how a playoff team is a osuper bowl contender. they are pretty similar, n? if you are gonna say stuff, at least be consistent. Dude, you said Roy Williams was a GREAT safety. Don't bring all that into this thread, please.

How the f*** is the 2 seed making the Super Bowl a long shot? Damn you just don't get it. I said Roy Williams isn't a great safety. I said the number 2 team in the NFC has a shot at the Super Bowl. How the f*** are those similar at all? Please, since you are so enlightened, explain to me how this is a f***ing homer comment... Dude, don't try to tell me anything about Tyson Chandler. Someone please post a pic of this guy so that I could LMFAO. To be fair, some of the smartest posters on this site (qwerty, cheat) were calling the Sox chokers in that thread too. It's just Soxfan1's posting style that rubs people the wrong way. SoxFan1
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Dec 24, 2005 -> 02:56 AM) When Soxfan1 just had a quote at the bottom of his sig, saying "He Called" Kenny being the best GM in baseball, and this team was special, he deserves the heat he gets. You got some balls on you Soxfan1, I'll give you that. I'm a lost human at times. A few frustrated posts and you get a bad rep. It doesn't bother me really. I deserve all the critique and heat I get but I try to run with it and learn from it. Frustration takes over and you become Public Enemy #1. There's nothing I can do about it. It's the way I am....but I'm working on it. And on top of it, I am not here to make enemies or piss people off (although it might seem that way sometimes) and I am not here to hold grudges. At the end of the day, this is still SoxTalk and we are all here for 1 common reason; because we are ALL diehard White Sox fans no matter what. I really changed the week I got suspended right before they clinched. The game they clinched against Detroit, I was so relieved. It really did change me a little. That's the only time I'll ever thank Jas for suspending me lol. Thanks Jas!
kapkomet
QUOTE(kapkomet @ Dec 23, 2005 -> 05:24 PM) There's no way Chicago wins the Super Bowl. No way. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Dec 23, 2005 -> 07:36 PM) Thanks now I won't have to watch the games. Remind me...what wins championships? QUOTE(kapkomet @ Dec 23, 2005 -> 07:49 PM) No, it's not because of any other team. The Bears do not have a championship team. That's all. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Dec 23, 2005 -> 08:13 PM) I love how people are drinking the kool aid around here. They do not have enough offense to win. Defense wins championships, sure, but you have to score points to get to the championships. And furthermore, they play in a pretty weak division. And even more furthermore, when someone plays smashmouth football against them, they become Cubs, not Bears. Don't get me wrong, they are much improved over last year. But they are NOT a Super Bowl winning team, IMO. Last time I checked, the playoffs are a lot more smashmouth. That's why I have a hard time thinking Indianapolis will win. I admit, I'm a Colts fan, but I'm not sure they have the toughness to win it all, either. Personally, I like Seattle right now. But so many things can change, depending on matchups and what not in the playoffs. The Bears are decent, but not championship calibur, yet. Is that a little better substance, sir Kalapse? Well, damn, I turned out to be a lot more right then I wanted to be with that last post... but I must say, **I TOLD YOU SO**, and a special shout to SoxFan1 on this one. Clinching in Detroit was amazing. My dad took me out of school and we drove up to Comerica for the clinching game. I got to embrace Reinsdorf and KW after we clinched. Our tickets were 3rd row behind the Tigers dugout and they were sitting right by us. At the time, it seemed like the best thing ever.
