Balta1701
QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Feb 6, 2006 -> 01:28 PM) Drew Gooden to the Bulls? Here's the article. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives..._a_gooden_deal/ Well, I can't say I've seen him play, but it probably wouldn't hurt the Bulls to trade some of that backcourt depth for some more strength inside, even though we'd basically be running with 2 power forwards instead of a PF and a Center. And giving up Duhon would mean Gordon would be getting more playing time.

Chisoxfn
I don't mind Gooden cause I think he's a good player, but defensively he lacks. At teh same time, we need some solid front court scoring and he would provide it. I'd hate to deal Duhon cause I really like him as our 1st guard off the bench. If we could find a legit two (with Gordon/TT/draft pick going somewhere) and than find a way to spin some other part for Gooden than i'd be really pumped. However, I think they'd want a little something more than a spare part for Gooden. I think Hinrich would be a good person to know whether Gooden would be a solid fit. If Hinrich tells Pax and Skiles he'll work hard, I have faith in that happening. Plus he'll be in a good system where he'll be asked to work hard. I think Skiles does a good job getting the best of his guys and if one of the guys isn't willing to put in the effort they will be shipped out. hammerhead johnson
I know that we're not supposed to talk about Tyson Chandler in this thread, but I don't think we're going to have a choice here: Since Tyson was inserted into the starting lineup: Offensive Rebounds Per Minute (Last 7 Games) 1. Tyson Chandler .180 OREB/MINUTE 2. Kendrick Perkins .150 OREB/MINUTE 3. Troy Murphy .128 OREB/MINUTE 4. Drew Gooden .118 OREB/MINUTE 5. Robert Swift .113 OREB/MINUTE 6. Ben Wallace .110 OREB/MINUTE 7. Kenny Thomas .110 OREB/MINUTE 8. Shaquille O'Neal .100 OREB/MINUTE 9. Jamal Magloire .090 OREB/MINUTE 10. Dwight Howard .090 OREB/MINUTE If not for Kendrick Perkins, he'd be pretty much blowing away the competition in OREB/MINUTE. Rebounds Per Minute (Last 7 Games) 1. Tyson Chandler .400 2. Troy Murphy .376 3. Tim Duncan .330 4. Jamal Magloire .330 5. Chris Kaman .330 6. Drew Gooden .330 7. Shaquille O'Neal .324 8. Sammy Dalembert .322 9. Kendrick Perkins .312 10. Robert Swift .304 Once again, if not for one guy (Troy Murphy), Tyson would be blowing away the competition. So, how's that for a little Tyson Talk? It's not like you're cherry-picking stats or anything... Any time I see a "per minute" stat, I usually just disregard it, but you also had to throw in "over his last 7 games," which have by far been his best of the entire season. Nice choice of a sample size. Here's a tyson question to ponder: How do you go from 67% free throw shooting one season to 46% the next (and this has been after bringing it up)? And I'm not discriminating...the same question goes for Duncan...
