WHarris1
The Bulls are without a doubt the dumbest team in the league. The s*** they do just is beyond head scratching. Still can't believe they found a way to lose. Up about 7 with 2 mins left in OT

whitesoxin'
Gordon scores 35 which makes it two games in a row with 35 or more points.
Jordan4life_2007
This team hasn't learned a damn thing since last year. How the hell do we keep losing games like this? Talk about regression.

DBAHO
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Feb 7, 2006 -> 03:52 PM) The Bulls are without a doubt the dumbest team in the league. You don't have Steve Francis. Therefore, you cannot be.
DBAHO
Sigh; According to a league source, the Nuggets are shopping Martin, who will earn $65 million through the 2010 season. Denver has also contacted Chicago about Martin, whose contract and medical history will prevent more teams from pursuing him. Martin, acquired in a sign-and-trade from the Nets two summers ago, has been slowed by knee and back problems this season. Thomas has two weeks to trade Penny Hardaway's expiring contract and has been in conversations with the Nuggets about point guard Earl Watson. According to published reports, the Knicks, Nuggets and Magic are discussing a deal that would bring Watson to New York and send Jamal Crawford to Orlando. If the Knicks try to acquire both Martin and Watson, Denver may ask for rookie Channing Frye in return. Up to this point, Thomas has sent word that he does not want to trade any of his three rookies. ...
DBAHO
Now this would also be interesting, and Smith's got a point about the 07 off-season being better in terms of FA's; Several team executives believe the Magic, still talking about dealing Steve Francis after his recent suspension for insubordination, should do good guy Grant Hill a favor as his career apparently winds down with injuries and trade him for someone whose contract is expiring. It would give Hill a chance to return to the playoffs because the Magic is in a rebuilding mode around Dwight Howard. "Honestly, I think if I had been right, we would've have made playoffs and won championships here," said Hill, out again after hernia surgery. "But you can't play would've, should've, could've. You can't dwell on the past. You have to look to the future." Would the Bulls want him for one season for Tim Thomas? It might not be a bad idea to delay the use of their salary-cap room for 2007 when better free agents come on the market because teams invariably spend the money they have. Brian
QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Feb 6, 2006 -> 11:32 PM) Gordon scores 35 which makes it two games in a row with 35 or more points. Yet he is throwing the inbounds pass to Nocioni with .7 secs left who doesn't realize you can't pump fake with so little time. Gordon looked upset he didn't get the last shot as he was walking off the court.

Why not let Ben take the last shot??
Kyyle23
QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Feb 7, 2006 -> 12:43 PM) Well, we would already have won by 30 if Ben played any D. He's worthless. Does Skiles not remember last year at all? Why not let Ben take the last shot?? Hasnt Nocioni been one of the best 3 point shooters in the league all year? You know, if Nocioni had gone straight up and shot the ball, it would have been a foul and a 3 point chance at the stripe, Okur swiped right over the top of him when he pump faked. Amazing!! Pistons are 39-8, and this shows yet again why 72-10 is untouchable. You have to be PERFECT to get there, and it's even more amazing that those Bulls would have went 74-8 if not for bad officiating/resting players. Balta1701
QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Feb 7, 2006 -> 10:14 PM) I haven't been paying much attention to the Pistons record, I didn't know they were up to 8 losses. They've now lost 2 games in every single month this year. 2 in Nov., Dec, Jan., and now Feb. Difference is, they've only played 4 games in Feb., while they were averaging like 14 games in each of the other months.
Palehosefan
Mav's close to overtaking the best record, climbed to 38-10 tonight I believe. I'm still not sold on their defense, but then again its the Mavericks and "no D" always lingers in my mind when I think of them. Its hard for me to get over them being "allas". They'll still get into the upper 60's in wins.

They'll still get into the upper 60's in wins. That depends a lot on what San Antonio/Phoenix/Dallas wind up doing. If Dirk/Nash/Duncan go down for while, there'd be little reason for them to slam on the accelerator at the end of the season when they could give people a week or two of limited playing time, extra rest, and Darko. I mean, you'd have to feel pretty damn stupid if you wrapped up home court advantage and then a few games later one of them 5 starters comes down with a nagging injury like Shaq had in the playoffs last year. I understand why you think that way, but Avery Johnson has done a great job and their defense is VERY improved. I think they might actually be better than the Spurs, even though your not supposed to say that.
