EvilMonkey
College student wins $46-million Florida lottery E-mail This Article Printable Version TALLAHASSEE, Florida (AP) -- Christmas has come early for one Florida college student. Lottery officials announced today that 20-year-old April Martin-- a student at Indian River Community College-- has claimed the most recent Florida Lotto jackpot. That jackpot is worth $46-million. Martin's ticket was the only one to match all six Florida Lotto numbers selected in Wednesday's drawing. April Martin said her father actually bought the ticket during his weekly grocery shopping. He gave it to her when he discovered it had the winning numbers. April Martin said she will split the winnings with her four siblings and her mom. Each sibling will get a new car, and Martin said she also plans to buy a house and pay for college with the winnings. Martin said her father chose her to divvy up the family's good fortune because of her fairness fair is fair i guess....but to be given the winning ticket AFTER the drawing and then not buy anything for the old man is just wrong. Flash Tizzle
Unless the article suggests otherwise, I assume the wife and husband will share their collection of the money.
