maggsmaggs
http://www.orioleshangout.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28747 The Orioles Board has a big thread going off this same rumor. They think both offers are crap. Interesting to read Baltimore's opinion. They all say Tejada is a top 5 player in baseball, which I completely disagree with. I can name 10 players I would rather have. nitetrain8601
They're on crack: I like McCarthy and Woodson (should only be at AA at best next year). But Uribe isn't good. I would need another prime prospect or a quality major league player or both to make a deal (Garcia and Ryan Sweeney).

Cabrera has done it since the day he set foot in a MLB park. Hell look at his rookie season and the playoffs. He was their 2nd best player as a rookie behind I-Rod. I'm not going to put Texieria in there yet. One more year and I'll say he's the league's 2nd best 1B behind Pujols of course.
Chisoxfn
Why the f*** is everyone raving about this Woodson character. Is there something none of us that follow the minor leagues know? Maybe this guy has some studly arm and just has been quietly talked about. I can't remember his name but when I get some time i'll look through the notes I compile during drafts and see if I wrote something about him. They definitely put up numbers and they're great players, but I guess I dont think of them as the super elite type players. I'd put Jeter, Ichiro, Clemens, Oswalt, Mariano Rivera and Derrick Lee ahead of those guys. Just my two cents though.

Miguel Cabrera will be 23 years old next year, he already has two 33 HR seasons along with two seasons with 112RBI+ and a .300 career batting average. He put up a .947 OPS last season at the age of 22, if you consider Pujols to be elite then you have to put Cabrera in there.

Ask the schmucks if they know who he is cause I think they are nuts. If he was some god of a prospect (not saying he's not a good prospect, honestly I don't know) he wouldn't have been throwing strictly out of the pen in rookie ball. Everyone has to start somewhere, but for them to say he'll be in AA is laughable. The guy has yet to start a game in the minors. He has pitched in 16 relief games. Or maybe this is just the beauty of making up a solid fake rumor.
