Guest hotsoxchick1
this came along with some season ticket letters in the mail....now tell me how you can honestly advertise the allstar game and the white sox all stars past and present and not have frank represented on the official stationary.......this is truely pathetic..... dont get me wrong here i love the guys they have on there but how can you put paulie and harold above frank......their accomplishments in their careers are at oposite ends of the scale.......f*** kenny williams and f*** jerry reinsdork....:****
Chisoxfn
That is ridiculous not having the greatest Sox of all time on that list. I think Paulie, Maggs, and Buerhle should be on their so you pub the current Sox, but I also think Thomas should be their. I wonder if KW has any say in that. I figure he has no control of the marketing decisions or at least not that much of it. Thats up to Galas.
Guest hotsoxchick1
actually what your missing here jason is the rest of the letter which couldnt be put up here because it was too lengthy..... this is from the front office of kenny williams so he is full aware of whats on the official stationary here........he could have nixed it or changed it when he put his john hancock on it before it went to press.... but of course kenny being the type of frank hater he is wouldnt have thought twice on how this reflects on the front office decisions..............hes an asshole plain and simple..........f*** kenny williams and f*** jerry reinsdork....:****

I've been scanning the message boards and when I see real tried and true diehards like you, Ncorgbl and GUG up in arms and I must say I am alarmed. KW is nuts and unless JR is taking leave of his senses he HAS to know what is going on. Which leads me to ask the question is this all planned? I mean even the most mentally challenged can see that they are driving this bus not into a ditch but right off the cliff.
Chisoxfn
I think he sucks as an owner, I'm just one of those big business type guys that also sides with the fact he don't want to lose a ton of money. The fact is he could still spend some money when the team is at least a player or two of becoming world chapmionship caliber and he doesn't do it. It seems to me like he's content where he is, and all he cares about is the bottom line, and winning just don't matter. Thats what makes him a s***ty owner. Guest hotsoxchick1
how many years of rebuilding do we have to go through before we finally have a winning team on the field??? we were so close in 2000 and with a little fine tuning we could have darn right well had it in 2001.....instead we get kenny williams (the idea child) here and he makes some drastic moves which didnt help much in the way of winning...... if we could have spent a little bit of money we could have had a productive team winning and also turning numbers in at the box office which would have made jr smile.........cheapness, and egos are running amuck here and it has to stop or its going to do exactly what si said.. the bus over the cliff....... Chisoxfn
Thats no message, thats just being classless. If you don't want him back, just tell him that and let him go on his merry way.
doubleM23
f***! I am so close to boycotting the Sox next year it's ridiculous... I need a f***in' email address 'cuz I really need to f***in' yell at Williams. God dammit, I never thought I'd ever question my love of the Sox but I am really close to becoming apathetic towards them. God dammit... Best player in franchise history and they don't even put him on the f***in All-Star game thing. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH I Hate Kenny Williams f***, if Thomas goes, I go, too. Let me rephrase that... If Frank goes and they don't reinvest that money into pitching and a center fielder, I go, too.
Chisoxfn
I can't questoin my love for the Sox, but I get so sick and tired of this crap. My dad was talking to me tonight about the Lakers and in the 42 years they have been in LA they have played in the NBA finals 21 times. Why can't we say something near as great about the Sox? Simple, we got incompetent owners. Sure, 21 times would be time near impossible, but I want some owners that at least go out and give an effort. JR doesn't do it and I'm sick of it. Mr. Showtime
What if they just get a pitcher Doub?
Chisoxfn
Thats becoming more obvious by the day as my optimism towards the Sox continues to be drained. Man, I can't wait for baseball season to start, so I can get my false hope up again.

The Lakers have had some of the games greatest players. I assure you had the Celtics been in the West, they wouldn't have been here. What that has to do with the Sox is that in the 60's they couldn't get past the Yankees. Reinsdorf cared in the 80's but once salaries went up, he stopped caring. Now your thinking like me, stop it. Chisoxfn
Once I get to spring training, I'll be rejuvenated only to be pissed off by mid-season and then excited again near the end of the season when the Sox show some hope.

Well, if they get off to a bad start, Manuel might get canned, so that should help your midseason red ass. They always do that, they play well when it doesn't matter. Chisoxfn
Well if we suck and they can Manuel right on the spot, I wouldn't be too dissapointed. I like Jerry, but I have plenty of flaws with him too. He's got to have this team firing on all cylinders throughout the season.

The key to 2003 is Garland and Wright, if their bad, the Sox will be bad. That's why this whole Thomas thing doesn't matter. If he hits .400 and those guys are bad, the team is going to be bad. Chisoxfn
I tend to agree with you. Of course if Ritchie or Rauch step up that will be key too. The pen will have to play strong too. I think they will, but you never know what will happen.
Mr. Showtime
Yeah, I'm banking on Todd having a good year. I don't know if Rauch will be here, of if he gets put in the pen.
Chisoxfn
I think he'll be here out of the gate, but if something changes then you just never know. We'll know more after free agency and stuff like that. I don't expect anything to happen, but we could end up picking up a veteran off the scrap heap. I think Rauch is ready though, but pitching in the pen out of the gate could be good for him, for at least a month to give him confidence. Plus its a good way to control his number of innings. Guest hotsoxchick1
ritchies shoulder is still bothering him.... and ill be willing to bet he has to have surgery in the upcoming season, just a hunch.........so dont count too much on him...the only up side to him is we dont have the dreaded nardi homer walk to the mound to look foward to this season.........so maybe cooper can keep his mound visits to a homer minimum......... Chisoxfn
If it is still bothering him, then he aught to be going in for surgery right now.
