It theoretically only affects the diamond foods on the east coast. Diamond has plants on the east coast, South Carolina, Midwest, Missouri, and the west coast, California. There was an issue two months ago with foods in Nor California with their smell. The foods smelt burnt. This had to do with new ingredients being added here in Nor Cal. Also, for those that do not know diamond makes a lot of the generic brands you buy such as Kirkland or Kirkland premium. They also make chicken soup for the soul. We had a problem here in the bay area with the media jumping on the story, but not telling the whole story. This forced diamond to release an emergency letter to all media outlets here in the bay area explaining that this recall only affects other regions.
