Obviously some people place emphasis on competition and representing your sport and country. I skiied competitively for years, and I respect and admire the athletes who have the skill and drive to compete for the US. In short, I do. Watching some of the best athletes in the world compete is a joke why...? I find it interesting even when it is something i don't really enjoy some of the ''sports'' they have in the olympics. watchtower41
I'll take the winter olympics any day over the summer games. I actually am looking forward to this coming up, I just always have a hard time nott spoiling the results before it comes on tv during primetime. Not a problem when they are here in the states, but overseas obviously there is a big tiem change. Would I want this to come to Chicago?? Hells no, much more of a problem than its worth. Didnt Greece loose a shiload of money??
