He is proving to Marcus Vick that an NFL player can pull unsportsmanlike moves on the field and pull guns on other people.

Kyyle23
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jan 13, 2006 -> 06:21 PM) DA U!!!! That school just produces miserable thug after miserable thug. unfortuntely, they also produce successful athlete after successful athlete. What ever happened to that Willy Williams kid? I remember there was a huge recruiting war for his services, and while visiting various colleges he got himself into so much trouble that he ended up having to wear an ankle bracelet for his senior prom. Shortly after he declared for miami.

Palehosefan
Willie Williams is currently on the Miami roster, and should be a starting LB for them next year. Some schools like DA U obviously forego any shed of academic prominence for football, and its tough to argue with why they do it. When football is your schools main money maker, a money maker that pays for alot of the other sports at your school to operate, then it would seem hard not to walk a fine line between talent/thug. I will give them credit though, Butch Davis really recruited alot of talent, and good people for the most part, they got away from the Miami thug U mantra for a while, but its obviously coming back to an extent. Well it's not like the U's requirements to get in aren't that high. IIRC, they and Louisiana schools have lower standards than anywhere else in the country. knightni
Florida A&M is a transfer school for the mentally challenged that want to goto FSU but have to get their grades up to a 2.0 GPA. State is right across the street from them.
