sox4lifeinPA
So it sounds like S Corps are quite advantagous for a partnership between to people who are sole owners of the corporation and want to avoid double taxation, no? anyone know of a good website to file papers through? Chisoxfn
S Corps are very good. Couldn't tell ya about setting em up though. Don't have any experience in that regards. I can tell you my dad has had zero problems with his, which he's been using for about 15 years. Used a normal corp prior to that (it fit what he was doing better at the time). You just pass the earnings through and it allows you to get most of the benefits of a corporation without the side-effects (ie the double taxation). sox4lifeinPA
I found a site: legalzoom.com I've already had a sit down with a lawyer, but his advice was just go through one of those sites. Our S Corp would be just two people and not a whole lot of frills.
