Note that Kenny said that, yet if Kenny is gone then JR may just s*** a brick after being swept and fire Manuel too.

Ok, you can change it to something else...Like something from the university you attended.

Too late. It's staying up until the White Sox win the division.

Ok, just kidding. That isn't going to happen anytime soon. But I'm going to leave it up for a while anyway.

The hockey finals are going on, Texas has the NBA Western Conference finals,

wake me up if the Sox

Fire JM or KW

Prove they can win a series

There isn't enough cerveza and tequilla in all of south Texas to get me to watch this team.

:fyou this team

My 2nd favorite team just moved up into first.

I'm against firing a coach/manager when the team isn't performing well, but it's reached the point where something BIG has to happen, and it's gotta be bigger than firing a hitting coach. Manuel's gotta go unless we come back today and put a winning streak together. If we make a change now, there's still PLENTY of time to make this season right. But, if we are content to stick with what we've been doing, in about 3 or 4 weeks we'll be out of it.

I'm with you. I tried to wait a long time before saying this, but it gets to a point where its no longer a slump.

This team isn't in a slump, they are just bad. Not saying it isn't fixable, but changes have to be made. Like it or not there are people that will take the fall and the GM and Manager should be gone. Then some changes will have to be made. Sox will have to decide whether to go for it for a bit or to just put their guys up and do a firesale of most of their players.

I think that if they fire Manuel in the next few days, they should make 1 or 2 moderately big trades. NOT a "firesale", but trading someone like Konerko, Thomas, or Koch. At this time, the one with the most trade value would probably be Koch (someone like Boston is probably desperate for bullpen help right about now), while Konerko and Thomas don't have much value, but who knows.

Maybe get Damon from Boston for Koch? Then move Damaso to the closer's role. I think he's got the mentality to be a major league closer. I'd rather have him as a set-up man, but desperate times..well you know the rest.

RIGHT NOW, there are 4 players that I would not consider trading. They are Magglio, Damaso, Bartolo, and Buehrle. The last 2 will join the "tradeable" list if we are playing this way near the end of June. But, right now, I don't think giving up on this season would be prudent.

Dark days could be ahead for the Sox organization. :(

This s*** is f***in ridicules..We've gone through..what? 6 different coached under Manuel..3 or 4 hitting coaches, 2 or 3 pitching coaches and STILL JM stays put...Everybody's getting fired BUT Manuel..This s*** is a f***ing FARSE!!!

I agree completely with ya Clu. Konerko is the first guy I'd move. I wouldn't move him for a firstbaseman either, but for a speedy centerfielder type or a prospect that is ready to contribute.

Carlos Lee is the one guy I still like because of how hard he is working. Also, props to him for the grandslam. Thank goodness Jose wasn't in the two hole or we could of been in deep crap. Still, lets just notice it was the back of the lineup and the top of the order that did this.
