Could you please elaborate for those of us who have no idea who these people are?

Kendra Davis is Antonio Davis's wife and Michael Axelrod is the fan that was supposidly harasing her when Antonio went in to the stands.

yeah but from the looks of things it was Kendra Davis doing the harasing. I think Kendra Davis needs to learn how to shut her mouth. She just got her husband suspended for 5 games.

I think Kendra Davis is at fault. A fan has the right to cheer or boo whoever the hell they want. Should you swear? Probably not. But swearing goes on at sporting events all over the country. I remember going to Bulls games in the late 80's/early 90's. The language was over the top. Especially when the Pistons and Knicks came to town. That's just the way it is. If you're the wife or parent or whatever of a player, and you get easily offended if a fan is saying negative things about whoever, stay home and watch the game. If your child gets easily upset if somebody says something negative about their father at a sporting event, stay home. Don't expect to come to a sporting event, especially if your husband is on the visiting team, and not expect to hear negative things. It's not personal. It's the way it is.

I also think Antonio totally overreacted to the whole situation. He acts as if Kendra was being attacked or raped or something. There was no need to jump into the stands the way he did.

Well, when at a basketball game, fans do drink, and considering it was his wife and child that was involved in a conflict, I don't blame him at all for doing what he did. When he's on the court, he has no way of knowing if the fan is drunk, or what they are saying to each other, but the moment the threat of any physical attack is apparent, then he has every right in the world to go up and question what is going on.

He obviously didn't go up there to throw punches or anything, he just wanted to stop whatever was going on. Yea, he could have notified security or something, but if something were to happen to his family because he went to get security rather than going right to the problem, he'd have to live with it.

I disagree. Unless it's obvious that she's in immediate danger, which in this case she clearly wasn't, there's no need to jump into the stands. What was the guy gonna do? Beat the crap out of her in front of 20,000 people? She was the one who got into his face.

Again, unless it's obvious a physical confrontation is going on, there's no need to jump into the stands like that. She was in his face. Not the other way around.

Supposedly AD knew several trips down the court that there was a confrontation between his wife and a fan... he had more than enough time to ask security to get up there... plus the one guy was in his seat while Kendra Davis was all up in his face idonno how she looks like the one at risk.

Your right if he didnt know in advance and ran up there id be ok but the report is that he knew about it several court trips(from one side to the other) before finally going up there.

Also from fan accounts this guy wasnt swearing at all or anything like that... just wanted her to sit down so he could see. Also its been reported Kendra Davis goes crazy all the time during her children's basketball games and that the other parents dont even want to sit by her and she has been ejected a few times.

I heard all that from the score....

I believe that Axelrod said nasty things like she said, but I also believe that she went apes*** on him (like ESPN shows), so both are at fault here.

I understand he said nasty things, but if you go to a sporting event, you should expect them. I'm not saying that its ok, but you should expect it.

She's sitting there with her young son, and nasty things get said to her. What do you really expect her to do? Its just downright rude to say things like that, especially to people with young children with them.

no one is at fault, THEY WERE JUST ARGUING, if it was two normal fans i don't think axlerod would be suing. just because a player ran into the stands doesn't give him any grounds to sue on. Correct me if i'm wrong here but i didn't see davis punch axlerod or anything, so he can get his publicity but he will not see a dime.

it isnt about Antonio hitting the guy, Axelrod said that Kendra Davis scratched him in the face and Antonio Davis slandered his name when he called him drunk and acted like he pushed Kendra.

There was no proof that it was said TO HER, or her son. She went on record saying, my son heard him say... So really, either get an usher, or get smaller ears.

He also said he got calls immediately afterwards from people wanting to know how he could hit a woman and do those mean things. Since he didn't do those things, that is a pretty bad thing to be following you around, especially since this got national coverage. All it takes is one crazed Knicks fan to find out where this guy lives and that's it. He can say whatever he wants, she always had the option to take her and her kid away from the situation. She could have also summoned security. I have done it at Sox games before, it works. By taking matters into her own hands, she cost her hubby major dollars, and brought all her past actions into the light of todays media. When this is done, I think she will end up looking like the b**** from hell.
