clujer420
WOW! Tony G with a nice play to get over there, then a tough pick and a tough running throw to get the guy by 3 steps. That was pretty!
Heads22
Koch is settling in. Think he could go another inning if need be?
clujer420
VERY fast and effective inning for Billy. If need-be, he'd be available for the 11th, as he only threw 7 pitches. Nice job!

That was very pretty. Jose would of 4 hopped that. Man, that is the second straight game Frank has looked horrible recognizing the breaking ball. Magglio ripped a single, keeping his hitting streak going. Maggs has had a great approach at the plate.

He's got an ERA of around 3 this month. I'd pitch him another inning. Then you turn it over to Glover who would be asked to go 4 innings or so max if he can keep going and the game keeps going. But you still got to go one inning at a time. Right now I'd be very tempted for a hit and run. Very easy to steal on a knuckleballer and generally it is easy to make contact. Heads22
I'd like to see some running on that knuckler. Maybe a double steal?

Chisoxfn
In this situation you have to be real tempted to keep out of the double play, but you can't put a hit and run on with 2 on. A double steal wouldn't be a horrible call with good speed on both parts of the plate, but do you want to chance getting gunned down. Chisoxfn
s***, double play. Konerko got sawed off and weakly hit it to the pitcher. I still say with a knuckler on the mound and good speed on, they should of been running.
Chisoxfn
JM sits and waits for things to happen instead of trying to make them happen. With the team playing the way it is, you got to go out and make something happen.
Rex Kickass
Interesting stats from the Tigers cast. Tig's bullpen fourth best ERA in AL. Konerko has now hit into Team Leading 11th DP of the year. Tigers in May 9-12, Sox, 7-15.
clujer420
Nice DP, Paulie.
elrockinMT
"Konerko does it again." should be the headlines in tomorrows sports section.

Chisoxfn
I think Bagwell has him beat so far. He's been awful this year. Nice, Kingsdale looks like he should be a member of the Sox, failing to get the bunt down on 3 attempts.
Chisoxfn
Santiago ripped it but Maggs catches it guns it to first and they almost double him up. Great play by Magglio all around.

Jim Fainter
An aggressive manager would have run with a knuckleballer on the mound. Somebody should email Wally and ask what he would have done in that situation.
