None of these guys.

Munoz got torn a new one at Soxfest by Ozzie.  I was actually standing right behind the guy who asked the question.

You could see a minor trade in ST to pick up a veteran lefty or you may just see Cotts as the lone lefty.

If I had to pick from these guys, I'd go with Reynoso if he could ever learn to command his pitches.

The main theme among Bentz, Lopez, Malone, Munoz, Randolph, and Reynoso is lack of control. I think whomever shows the most control against lefties in ST will probably win the job.

As much as I like Baj as far as being a good guy and from what he does around here, I think he could have a tough time making the team.

Every time he's been seen in the majors, he's pretty much gotten lit up.

His ceiling to me is the 24th or 25th guy on the roster.

Because he pitched like once every 5 days. If he gets some type of rhythm going and being able to pitch consistently, I would venture to guess he'd be a decent pitcher out of the pen. I figure his ceiling is probably a good middle reliever on any team at some point. You let him work consistently, and you may just see the pitcher everyone has seen dominating in AA and AAA the past 2 years come out...albeit not nearly to that degree.

That and he pitched in 4 games last year, allowing all the runs in one bad outing. But then again, he gave up homeruns to Travis Hafner and Casey Blake. No self respecting pitcher would give up bombs to those two guys.

Why are you guys getting all worked up over this? The guy said he respectec Baj and everything and just said the truth.. although he hasnt been given much of a chance ill say that when he has it hasnt exactly gone well.... and you have to think there is a reason the whitesox arent giving him more of a chance because idonno they are the experts... :P .

If Baj makes it with us that is great.... if he makes it in the bigs with another team thats great for him.... but the Baj love here needs to be taken down a step.

Since heads and I are friggin declaring him messiah or something :huh

I said he'll be a good middle reliever at some point...that is too much love for a player who has decent stuff and has done nothing but dominate in the minors the past couple years? Why couldn't he be a productive middle reliever? I trust the Sox staff, but I also realize that Stephen Randolph would get the 25th spot over Bajenaru simply because he throws with his left hand and Ozzie loves having 2 lefties in the pen.

I think Baj will get his shot, and while it may not be with the Sox, I think he will be successful too.

No, I think the "the only reason you guys like Baj is 'cause he posts here " crap needs to take a step down.

I'm not saying Baj is a budding Eric Gagne. All I'm saying is that he has nothing left to prove at AAA, and that he deserves his shot (regardless of whether or not it's with the SOx) in the majors. He's pitched 90+ innings at AAA with a sub-2 ERA while averaging right around a K per inning.

But yeah -- I forgot I'm supposed to take his 12 major league IP and make a conclusion that he sucks from that.

To be honest, I think some people don't like baj cause he's a reliever that doesn't throw 3249304320 mph. The guy really does know how to pitch, he's never going to be a closer or even a setup man in the majors but he's a guys I can definitely see putting up an era around 3.75 if given a full year shot. That's obviously not great but it's solid and I would be very happy getting that from our 6th or 7th guy in the pen.

I see him fitting in like Viz did.
