Pauly8509CWS
QUOTE(Brian @ Jan 31, 2006 -> 09:24 PM) He's been hurt since 2002 pretty much and has always had great matches...except with Mark Henry this past Sunday. Kyyle23
QUOTE(Pauly8509CWS @ Jan 31, 2006 -> 11:35 PM) Sexual Chocolate is back?!?!?! Wasnt Sexual Chocolate the wrestler Viscera?
Milkman delivers
QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Feb 1, 2006 -> 09:23 AM) Wasnt Sexual Chocolate the wrestler Viscera? No, Mark Henry was. They've made Viscera into a newer version of that character, though. With Goldust now back, it seems like they have two guys like that (except Rhodes is white, er gold). Kyyle23
Viscera is lame. The guy has too much undercarraige to wrestle.

Kyyle23
QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Feb 1, 2006 -> 09:52 AM) Yeah, he's huuuuuge. Whenever he gets eliminated from a Royal Rumble or Battle Royal type match where he has to go over the ropes, it never looks real. People start pushing him and he usually just leans over the top when he is supposed to get eliminated. People like him and Mark Henry just arent fun to watch because they are so big. I used to love Bam Bam Bigelow because he wrestled like a cruiserweight in a heavyweights body. There just arent guys like him anymore. It's not easy to find a big guy that can fly around. I guess you can include guys like Undertaker and Kane in that, too. They have different bodies than Bam Bam, but they can move. They're a class lower than him, though, since they weren't in Major Payne.

They used to be fun, but Undetaker and his walk on the rope just aint cutting it anymore when there are guys flying off the turnbuckle and doing crazy moves(randy orton comes to mind. He is gonna be good when he gets over himself). Ill tell you one thing, I think Ken Kennedy is going to be awesome when he comes back from his injury. Him and guys like Bobby Lashley are the future. Well, I haven't seen Undertaker wrestle in a long while. Kane, on the other hand, does a lot of moves off of the turnbuckles, at least I think. He might do those less recently, though, since they have him as Big Show's partner. I assume Kennedy is on Smackdown when he's healthy? I never watch that, so I don't know anything about him. Lashley, from what I saw of him, looks like he can move around. He could be very big.

A stupid gimmick in an era of stupid gimmicks. I don't WANT that information in my brain - I can't remember my sister's cell phone number but I can remember the names of Men On A Mission???? NOT cool.....

Him and guys like Bobby Lashley are the future. Lashley and Kennedy have the potential to be huge, also look out for Johnny Jeter and Ken Doane if they can ever shake that fricking Spirit Squad gimmick. Doane is only 19 and is a superstar waiting to happen. He has the look, mic skills and in-ring ability to go along with it. I watch OVW(The E's training grounds) on a pretty regular basis and both men were brilliant down there having classics in their respective feuds. JoeBatterz
I don't have a problem with old time wrestlers still sticking around. Nobody gets upset when actors stick around past their prime. I would still go see a movie with Clint Eastwood or Paul Newman. Michaels, Flair, Hogan, Undertaker, etc... are just actors who entertain as well. It's just a different type of entertainment in which they as a group have to be quite athletic to perform. If they can still draw fans, I would keep cashing those paychecks as well. I heard the rumors about Bonds pulling out for the drug testing as well. Looks like he is still on the juice.

Brian
QUOTE(orangekrush88 @ Feb 1, 2006 -> 08:14 PM) Lashley and Kennedy have the potential to be huge. Lashley better learn some ring psychology and how to sell. I'd recommend watching Brock Lesnar matches from 2002 and 2003.

Kyyle23
Im willing to give Lashley a little rope right now, he is still really raw and new. His in ring presence is pretty good, but some guys take a little while to get the microphone part of the job down pat.

His in ring presence is pretty good, but some guys take a little while to get the microphone part of the job down pat. And some guys NEVER get it. A lot of guys never get it. I think good managers like Cornette and Heyman can really help guys get over who are missing the mic skills. The manager is a dying breed - Daivari could be a good one, I think, if he drops the screaming in Arabic ( which he seems to have done already ). The manager is a dying breed - Daivari could be a good one, I think, if he drops the screaming in Arabic ( which he seems to have done already ). I agree, Daivari is a good manager. He is a wrestler besides being a manager, so he can actually get up on the mat and cause some havoc in the middle of a match. I havent heard Lashley cut a promo ever, so i cannot really comment on his in ring mic skills. he has been interviewed a few times on the side, but that doesnt really count. No one is ever good when they are interviewed by that ditz if you ask me. From what I read, Jim Cornette is not very well liked, but everyone loves what Heyman has done with the OVW. Ken Kennedy was almost on his way out when Johnny Ace got fired and Heyman took over, and Heyman came in and told Kennedy he was going to make him a star. I dont know for sure, but if Kennedy can stay healthy, I think he is going to be huge. He has that ego that the stars have, his mic skills are totally great, and he can wrestle. He is technical and big. Lashley will probably be a Goldberg type wrestler until he can get on the mic and cause someone to get pissed off, but thats fine. A dominator is always fun to watch until you can tell that the matches are being given away(ie. Goldbergs last 100 matches of his "streak"). Im glad for TNA though, Vince is always at his best under pressure. When there isnt competition, that Cat gets fat and puts his feet up. I agree, that is why I was comparing actors to actors. Michaels, Hogan, Flair are all actors. There acting is a lot more physical than what you might see at the movies and they do their own stunts. However, it still is planned ahead of time and the outcome is predetermined. Professional Wrestling is not a Sport. It is sports entertainment. Clint Eastwood, Paul Newman, Hulk Hogan, and Ric Flair are all actors who work in common jobs. Did I say that wrestling was a sport? Or did I say you cannot compare athletes to actors? Just because there is a script to wrestling, doesnt make these guys all actors. They are athletes, and just because they follow a script doesnt mean they can be compared to Clint Eastwood and Paul Newman. Horrible Comparison.
