rventura23
today I was thinking about one of the funniest moments I have ever seen in baseball: when Manny Ramirez cut off a ball thrown by Damon on july 21, 2004 off a ball hit by David Newhan, which turned into an inside the park home run. has anyone seen video of this on the internet and know where it is located? Phuck the Cubs
If Manny had let that go straight to the Horn (Mark Bellhorn), he'd have had a shot at home.

samclemens
and some people wanted to acquire manny this offseason. this just backs up my claim that he is a disease.
Phuck the Cubs
He'd have to hustle on defense anywhere else. He's lazy. He only has so many assist b/c he plays LF at Fenway, where he gets those nice hops from the green monster
Felix
QUOTE(Cuck the Fubs @ Feb 5, 2006 -> 03:38 PM) He'd have to hustle on defense anywhere else. He's lazy. He also gets the assists because teams are willing to run on him more than normal fielders. Also, playing the green monster isn't exactly easy. He's had enough practice that he's good enough to know the bounces, but sticking a random fielder in there won't produce the same results.
Phuck the Cubs
^ I soppuse. But couple that, plus a short LF and you see why. He wouldn't be a good fielder anywhere else.

rventura23
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Feb 5, 2006 -> 01:33 PM) That was very amusing, actually. I should add that its about 100 times funnier if you watch what manny did the entire play, instead of the quick clip shown.
