whitesoxfan101
Ok now I admit I haven't been a member here and regular poster all that long, so if this has been covered, forgive me. But last night, me and a friend just somehow got on the subject of old Nickelodeon shows (we are both 19 btw) and here was the list we came up with as a top 5: 1. Doug 2. Double Dare 3. Ren and Stimpy 4. Legends of the Hidden Temple 5a. Rocko's Modern Life 5b. Wild and Crazy Kids So....what was your favorite(s)?

Kid Gleason
I didn't have cable until '91, and by then I was 21, so there was no way in hell I was watching Nick. Was Saved By The Bell on Nick? Bunch of my friends loved that show and always watched it. I no longer speak to those people, BTW.

witesoxfan
Ren and Stimpy and Salute your Shorts are probably the 2 greatest shows of all time...atleast of those that were on Nickelodeon. Pete and Pete was solid as hell too, but nothing can top Ren and Stimpy and Salute your Shorts. I still find myself singing "Happy Happy, Joy Joy" from R&S and the intro song to Salute your Shorts from time to time.
Iwritecode
QUOTE(mreye @ Feb 3, 2006 -> 01:31 PM) Those are Old School? You Can't Do That on Television! Also from that same era "Don't Just Sit There" With Double Dare it has to be the original with Marc Summers. The new DD2000 wasn't quite the same. Do you guys realize he's pushing 90 years old and, as far as I can tell, is still alive?!? I never realized how old he was or how long he'd been on TV until I saw a clip of his show from the 50's or 60's.
