whitesoxfan101
QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Feb 4, 2006 -> 09:51 AM) Im surprised that "You cant do that on television" isnt on more lists here. Double Dare wouldnt have their slime if YCDTOT didnt make slime cool. I always loved the skits that took place in the diner, with all of the bad food. That show is older, so I doubt many here would remember it. I only kind of remember the VERY last year of it, and even with that I think it was pretty good. Some people might think that would have been a good thing, but I like her. I looked at every member of the cast, and I only recognized her name. That kind of surprised me, you would think a comedy sketch show for kids like that would have spawned a few more recognizable stars after an 11 year run. That kind of surprised me, you would think a comedy sketch show for kids like that would have spawned a few more recognizable stars after an 11 year run. Alanis was the exception and not the rule. Keenan Thompson is also. More often, the only time you hear about child actors after their 15 minutes are up is when they go into drug rehab of get arrested for something stupid. Plus, all those YCDTOT kids were Canadians, so you can'r expect that much from them. Edited February 4, 2006 by FlaSoxxJim

Rex Kickass
Alanis was a minor cast member, barely noticed then. Oh, BTW - the reason it's not in reruns is because about 100 people would have to get residuals.

farmteam
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Feb 5, 2006 -> 02:19 PM) Alex Mack - she was sooo hot Agreed. Larisa Oleynik was very good in everything she did. Last thing I saw her in was "100 Girls" (anyone ever see that?), which came out in 2000, I think. I wonder where she's been.
Capn12
You Can't Do That on Television - was a ritual for me, i'm 28 though but watched it daily. Double Dare - Obstacle Course, need I say more? Lancelot Linc, Secret Chimp - Creators of this HAD to be on acid, but it was damn funny. Mr. Wizard - Used to watch it every morning at 6:30 AM!! Nick Arcade - Looking back now, man that show was cheesy Figure It Out - Summer Sanders was HOT!! I still watch Nickelodeon Games and Sports channel now, at age 28, to see old episodes of "Finders, Keepers", "Double Dare", Legends of the Hidden Temple, etc.

whitesoxfan101
Last movie I saw the girl from Alex Mack in was that movie where she couldn't date and her sister was Julia Stiles. I don't remember the name of it though because it was a chick flick and I only saw it because I liked a girl that wanted to see it. Haha, I think that was in like 2002. But yeah, between the girl from Alex Mack and Dina from "Salute your Shorts" in that bikini in the one episode, I first discovered the greatness of the female gender. I remember a few of my buddies and I always wished we would be on the show cause we though we'd own at it. Oddly enough this thread led to a discussion at my buddies super bowl party where we talked about old school shows and Mr. Wizard came up. He was the before and more lame version of Bill Nye (or however you spell it).

That movie was a parody of a shakespeare novel. I got to watch it in a class during high school and it was far better than the normal english curriculum. She was in 100 or 1000 girls (forget what it was called) and was still looking quite hot.
