Felix
Nice rankings, although I don't really agree with your RB rankings. I'd say DeAngelo Williams is better than LenDale White, and Marooney is better than both Drew and Norwood.
AddisonStSox
QUOTE(Felix @ Feb 4, 2006 -> 11:13 AM) Nice rankings, although I don't really agree with your RB rankings. I'd say DeAngelo Williams is better than LenDale White, and Marooney is better than both Drew and Norwood. You won't be the only one. Maroney will be a first-round draft selection. I'm willing to take a little heat on the running back rankings and just adopt an "I told you so" stance in about a year or so.

DukeNukeEm
I like how you bump down Maroney b/c of the system.. Do you want to see how Marion Barber played this year? Chad Greenway is not the #2 LB. Especially ahead of guys like Ryans and Howard. Micheal Huff is a CB in the NFL. Look at him.. I dont give a s*** about what people about his "unfluid hips" (then some go on to call him the best D player in the draft...), the guy looks like a freaking CB. Why the hell is Jimmy Williams #2?! Ahead of AZ and Cromartie!? Wheres Derrick Martin? I wasnt expecting John McCargo.... Best for last: I busted my nut laughing so hard at Omar Jacobs as the #4 QB. Are these the order they will go in the draft, or the quality player they will be in the pros? I'm assuming the second, which would mean it would take more than a year to say "I told you so" (although, to be fair, you did say "a year or so") Also, I like that you actually spelled Leinart correctly, something most people here haven't realized in other posts Edited February 5, 2006 by Felix
witesoxfan
Love 'em Addy. I would have probably had Maroney a little bit higher, but to each his own. I personally love Jacobs as the #4 QB...I just really like Jacobs a lot. I also like Byrd as high as you have him, as his Senior Bowl week was overall a very good one. Not much of an argument from me.

DukeNukeEm
NO. See thats not the tone of any of my posts (except that one , but if you dont know thats in jest.. gtfo). Just because I disagree with people doesnt mean I hate them at all. I critisize Addy's rankings, does that mean I have a long last vendetta against Addy in which I hope he dies? No. Calm down there folks

You can go around saying f***, s***, ass, b****, whatever disparaging words you want to use. But to use the word retard truly shows what kind of person you are, and not in a good way. Its just as bad if not worse than any racist remark you can make. That's just my thoughts on that, but that is one of those words that I truly wish that no one in their right mind even thought about using. If you think you know so much more than most people on this board than show your intelligence not your ego. Why would anyone care what you say when you come across as an arrogant know-it-all who ususally doesn't bother to back up what he has to say because we are viewed as below you. Dam8610
Addy, where's Joseph Addai on your RB rankings? He'll be a really good APB for some team in the near future. I'd probably put him ahead of Mo Drew the way your rankings are set up, but I'd also have DeAngelo ahead of LenDale.

Williams over LenDale they always regurgitate some crap from NFLDraftCountdown or Kiper. I saw Williams ONCE, live, in person... and though he played very well... I wasnt like blown away by him. I was blown away by White in the Rose Bowl (biggest stage possible) and very impressed every other time I watched USC. Well, here's why I'd rank DeAngelo ahead of LenDale, and this is from my head, not something anyone else has said. DeAngelo is an APB, whereas LenDale is a RB. DeAngelo has great receiving and blocking skills and had FAR less to work with at Memphis, where he set an NCAA record with 34 straight games over 100 yards rushing. LenDale was never the feature back at USC, was basically used in running situations only (he was the predominant goal line back, but never got the bulk of the touches at RB otherwise), and ran behind one of the best lines in the country, which includes 2 potential 1st round pick (Justice, Lutui) and 3 lineman who will probably start in the NFL in 2006 (Justice, Lutui, Matua). That might be similar to what you've heard/read, but it came from my head.
