I just read on phillies.com that a phillies fan expected the white sox to give up buehrle for abreu and gavin floyd. first off gavin floyd mentioned in the same breath as mark buehrle? i dont think so. second, buehrle is damn affordable for a pitcher of his calliber, and i dont think that we were gonna add 5 million dollars for a player that slid in the second half! (abreu)

"A phillies fan expected"

Hell, White Sox fans here expected the Mets to give up Milledge and Heilman for Contreras. Some even think Buehrle is better than any other ace in baseball right now. Just because a fan thinks it doesn't mean its anywhere near being true, especially with how much Buehrle means to the White Sox.

i dont think buehrle is BETTER than any other ace in baseball. i think buehrle is a legit ace who means a lot to this team, with out him, our pitching is still good, still possibly the best, but not scary any more, and for the record, i neverEXPECT trades, i often hope for them though

in case your wondering what i meant by my last reply, i meant that as of right now, our staff is deep, and therefor eliminates the threat of injury a little, that makes it scary, as opposed to with out MB

mark is not going anywhere.....just because a bum off the street said he's going to be traded, doesn't mean it's going to happen or that there is even a chance.
