clujer420
Rocky Biddle (involved in the trade Colon) -- 4.10 ERA, 3-1, 14 saves (15 opps), 25 k's in 26 1/3 IP, 1.29 WHIP Antonio Osuna (involved in the trade for Colon) -- 2.08 ERA, 1-1, 16 k's in 17 1/3 IP, 1.56 WHIP Jeff Liefer (involved in the trade for Colon) -- .195, 3 HR, 17 RBI, .225 OBP (WTF?), .576 OPS, 21 k's, 3 walks -- WHAT THE HELL? Royce Clayton (left via free agency) -- .198, 6 HR, 21 RBI, .284 OBP (LOL), .625 OPS, 31 k's, 21 walks Ray Durham (traded to Oakland, now in SF) -- .309, 3 HR, 5 RBI, .425 OBP, .898 OPS, 23 k's, 22 walks Keith Foulke (traded to Oakland for Koch) -- 2.10 ERA, 3-0, 12 saves (14 opps), 27 k's in 25 2/3, 0.86 WHIP Kenny Lofton (traded to SF, now in PIT) -- .302, 5 HR, 17 RBI, .369 OBP, 9 steals (3 CS), .816 OPS, 18 walks, 18 strikeouts Josh Fogg (involved in Ritchie trade) -- 4.35 ERA, 1-2, 11 k's in 20 2/3 IP, 1.16 WHIP Kip Wells (involved in Ritchie trade) -- 3.30 ERA, 1-2, 49 k's in 57 1/3 IP, 1.19 WHIP ---------------------------- I'm sure there are a couple of others that I'm forgetting, but those I think are the main ones. The ones doing the best are Foulke and Lofton. Kip, Biddle, Osuna, and Durham are doing pretty well. While Clayton and Liefer are sucking it up. Fogg hasn't really pitched enough this year to get a read on how he's doing.

Fogg hasn't really pitched enough this year to get a read on how he's doing. Fogg tossed seven shutout innings against the Cubs today in his return from the DL for a strained oblique muscle. Gave up 3 hits and walked 3, struck out 5.

Jim Fainter
I was just reminded of another ex-Sox while watching the end of the Yankee/Red Sox game. Alan Embree finished up for Boston. Another smooth move by KW. In 2001 Embree was with the Giants and was getting lit up regularly -- ERA of 11.25. Naturally they want to get rid of him in mid-season, but his salary was over $ 1 Million, so they don't want to just cut him. So what do the Giants do? You guessed it, they call Fast Kenny and trade Embree to us AND we picked up his salary. Embree continued to get lit up with us, with an ERA of 5.03, 1-2. Sometimes I just shake my head. Kenny must get Christmas cards from every other GM in baseball.

Chisoxfn
Mouton was great. I wish I could go back to those days. I was much more relaxed in regards to the Sox then. Now I'm getting more bitter every day, lol. And this is coming from me, one of the most optimistic people. I'm pretty resolved to the fact that this team is going to suck until they get a quality manager up here and move some players.

Paco Martin, aka Noberto. Ya, he was great too. I would always yell Paco as loud as I could at Anaheim Stadium. Damn, I wish him, Mouton, Robin Ventura. Those guys were awesome. Then there was One Dog, etc.

Soxplosion
Whatever happened to Chris Snopek? He disappeared as far as I know. I know he was with the Red Sox a few years back but I think hes gone now. I wasnt a very big fan of his. But his career average was like .220 so why would I be?
Jim Fainter
Didn't Snopek get the third base job after Robin left? He won it in spring training, and then stunk up the joint on opening day, and was back on the bench the next day and released shortly thereafter.
