knightni
Yeah. Also, you might be a child of the late 70s/early 80s if you remember Sesame St. without Elmo.
SnB
i only experienced 3.5 years of the 80s and even I can relate to most of those. PS: pee wee's big adventure is still one of my favorite movies.
Iwritecode
QUOTE(mreye @ Feb 8, 2006 -> 01:15 PM) One of my daughter's favorite things are My Little Ponys. I think my youngest has every single one (of the newer ones) ever made. At least it seems that way when I try to clean her room. QUOTE(knightni @ Feb 8, 2006 -> 01:17 PM) Also, you might be a child of the late 70s/early 80s if you remember Sesame St. without Elmo. I do remember that. I also remember when he was the "new monster". I think I quit watching the show just before he came on. I have to add a few more: You ever watched Reading Rainbow with LeVar Burton before he was on Star Trek. You know how to use the dewey-decimal system. You remember when only "rich people" could afford cell phones. You wondered if the Sox would ever win a World Series in your lifetime. Jordan4life_2007
I'm not even 23 yet and I miss the 80's.
LosMediasBlancas
I was in HS from '82-'86 and I don't miss the 80s at all. I knew they sucked even back then.
Middle Buffalo
QUOTE(Iwritecode @ Feb 8, 2006 -> 12:13 PM) I think all of that stuff has been recycled at some point in time. It's never as good as the originals though. I am really disappointed with the newer versions of the He-Man, Star Wars, Transformers and GI Joe figures/toys. Some of the new star wars figures have removable hands. That's an excellent feature for a 6 year old. Also, they didn't do much to update the Darth Vader carrying case. It's just the wrong size for most of the figures. This was definitely my wife when I met her: "ever curled your bangs upward, and sprayed them in place there" Her hair defied gravity.
