qwerty
Bulls lead 33-20 after one. Chandler is 3-3 for six points. He also has seven rebounds and two assists. Gordon is 3-4 with two three... for eight points. Malik allen actually played above his scrubbiness.

It's just a matter of time before Denver goes on a 17-2 run.

Chisoxfn
We were up pretty big but the Nugs closed the quarter strong. Still a 9 point lead at the half. The ball movement has been tremendous and we are kicking ass in the boards. Tyson with 6 points and 11 boards in the first half. He's a beast and Songalia has been great as well. Hinrich has had some nice passes and Gordon/Noc have looked good too. Haven't seen much Deng or Duhon. Actually I'm starting to think there may be a true shot Duh gets dealt around the break for a guy like Gooden (or another big). I like Duhon a lot but I think its easier to find a backup pg as opposed to a quality big that can score (plus thats kind of a big time need for this team). Yeah, hopefully Tyson can put two halves together tonight. Obviously when Tyson plays well the Bulls are a hell of a lot better team. And I agree, the Bulls really need another big, but I'm not sold on Drew Gooden as that guy.

If we had Curry we'd be at least .500. The Bulls need for a low post scorer is obviou and while I am glad we moved Curry (I think he's soft although extremely talented; he wasn't worth what he got considering the risks). However, we need to find a replacement big time. I'd hope that we have a shot at Gay or Aldridge via the Knicks pick, but Gooden is a good low post scorer who could get a good number of minutes and help our offense out a lot. Plus, no one is going to tell me he's worse than say Malik Allen defensively. I think having him back with Hinrich and with a good coach like Skiles would do him some good. If he can't succeed with that than I'd have my doubts (Skiles gets the best out of his guys as long as the other player is willling to work hard). Songo and harrington could put up his type of numbers ( slightly less rebounds) for less money and cost zero talent to get. Drew gooden is a waste of space for this team. I just won't mind if the Bulls end up with two top ten picks, but will the talent in the draft be worth a losing season?

I would rather get our big (s) from the draft. I do not see this team going much of anywhere ( i do think they make the 7th-8th seed)... first round elimination no matter who we add. This up-coming off-season is gonna be very fun along with next season. Gooden has always reminded me of a stiff and he is just a third scoring option at best ( well he should be).
