qwerty
QUOTE(fathom @ Feb 8, 2006 -> 11:26 PM) BTW, I know this is old news, but Kerr saying "that's in" basically before Okur shot that 3 last game to win it was one of the funniest things I've ever heard during a sports game. I agree. He says it alot though but he is pretty good... probally gets it right 60% of the time.
SleepyWhiteSox
QUOTE(q\/\/3r+y @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 12:25 AM) There is a block sleepy. Excellent block. He had the same long arms the first 45 games...nice to see him putting them to use... I was liking the idea of a 2nd top 10 draft pick. whitesoxfan101
We still f***ing suck, but nice to win one. Ben with 30 again, good to see. Tyson looking like an NBA player recently is also nice, and finally...good to see Deng come off that last game and play pretty well. Deng is my fav player, but I was afraid to admit it the last few days.

They would have wasted both of them on 2 undersized gaurds anyways.
qwerty
Biggest difference between last year and this year is killing f***ing instinct. It's ridiculous. If gordon averages 30 a game all will be forgiven. Btw, this is one of the worst momentum type wins you could hope for. Either blow them the hell out of the building or mount a big come back. If we do not draft aldridge or gay i will be so damn pissed. I know we are pretty stacked @ small foward... but you have to make an exception for gay. Drafting aldridge would be the better option considering there are not many bigs in free agency... and no al harrington does not count soxfan101, either does nazr. Would like Would like yo see aldridge bulk up another 8-10 pounds too.

hammerhead johnson
QUOTE(q\/\/3r+y @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 05:30 AM) If gordon averages 30 a game all will be forgiven. Isiah Thomas is impressed. With the trade deadline coming up, Gordon couldn't have picked a better time to start making more than 38% of his shots.

qwerty
QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Feb 8, 2006 -> 11:41 PM) Isiah Thomas is impressed. With the trade deadline coming up, Gordon couldn't have picked a better time to start making more than 38% of his shots. If he puts up 30 a game shooting the percentage he has been the last 7-8 games along with his better turnover numbers even you will be impressed with what he brings to this team. Not very often is a player scoring 30 a night and givin up more defensively. If he shoots 44% while scoring 25 a game he would be helping up more than hurting us on an average,
hammerhead johnson
Ben Gordon has upside as a 3 point specialist. I'll give him that.
qwerty
Knicks have 34 losses to the bobcats 36. After that some teams are tied with 32 and it gets really bunched up. Go bobcats and all the knicks opponents.

Unless Gay can play at SG of course.
GoodAsGould
Idonno I always go under philosphy when you get a pick that high you take the best player available.....im sure with Gay that would prob signify the end of Nocioni with the Bulls if not by trade by f/a.... And usually on most nights we would be able to matchup either Gay or Deng with the other team's SG.... which would give us a huge size advantage.... Unless Gay can play at SG of course. Exactly why we wouldn't draft him before aldridge in my opinion. If we ended up getting the second pick and aldridge is already gone... gay is not a bad constellation.

I honestly havent seen him really play or if I have it wasnt that much.... Yes, he is. He's 6'11, 245. He's very skilled, long, athletic and handles the ball well for a big. Just think Chris Bosh. I definitely agree with Qwerty about taking Aldridge if he's there when we pick.
DBAHO
QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 07:53 PM) Yes, he is. He's 6'11, 245. He's very skilled, long, athletic and handles the ball well for a big. Just think Chris Bosh. I definitely agree with Qwerty about taking Aldridge if he's there when we pick. And I think more importantly, Aldridge could probably bulk up to about 265-270 lbs, kind of like what Dwight Howard is doing, which would allow him to play C, and keep Chandler at PF, because the last 10 games have definitely shown Chandler can thrive in the PF spot. Soxfan101, I do mostly agree on taking the best player available of course, but if the Bulls took Gay, then they would have to trade Noc, and it'd be hard to get equal value for him when you probably need to deal him. C is such a huge weakness, and good young big's are just so god damn hard to find (in aspects other then scoring so Mr. Curry doesn't count ), so the Bulls could really make a franchise building move here. Pretty much every PF/C that has come out in the past few years in the Draft (from the college system) and taken in the top 5 has been a success as well e.g Howard, Okafor, Bosh
