Pauly8509CWS
Sweden just looked like a better team, what a game!
southsider2k5
Be honest here... going into the olympics would anyone have believed that between the US, Russia, and Canada they would all have exactly ZERO mens olympic hockey medals in 2006? Wow.
IlliniKrush
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Feb 26, 2006 -> 02:15 PM) Be honest here... going into the olympics would anyone have believed that between the US, Russia, and Canada they would all have exactly ZERO mens olympic hockey medals in 2006? Wow. No, because i would have expected Canada to medal. I didn't really expect Russia to medal, and i was pretty positive the US wouldn't medal. So the only real surprise to me is Canada. Pauly8509CWS
Russia was my pick for gold actually, I thought they were just so high powered.
Soxy
It was a *great* game. Sad that the Fins lost. It was one of those games that reminds me why I like hockey.
WilliamTell
I loved watching Sweden's defense, they put on a clinic through out the Olympics.
Spiff
QUOTE(Spiff @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 12:58 PM) I think Grahame is starting for the US, but I'm not sure. Anyway I'm predicting (and rooting for) a Sweden gold. I like Lundqvist in net and picking Canada to win is boring. Also, hoping Miikka and the Fins can give the Canadians some trouble. Gold: Sweden Silver: Canada Bronze: Czech Republic 2 out of 3, f*** yeah sweden
Zualian Bleep
Canada and USA sleepwalked. When was the last time the Canada won Olympics, anyway? LOL at them. My Russia apparently can't contra-defend, or pass, or shoot on the Big Stage that well, anymore.. Congrats to Sweedens. (And to Spiff for knowing what he's talking about.)
