Delgado almost a White Sox instead of Thome?

Thome has a higher career OPS, and had a higher OPS in 2004, Thome's last full year healthy.

Elaborate?

He's younger. He hits for average. He strikes out less and hits more doubles. He's not coming off of a year ending injury. He's never hit as many homers, but hasn't hit in the quality of parks that Thome has.

I love Thome. I also think Delgado's the better player and more of a sure thing. I'm happy either way. I'm not going to act like I didn't want Delgado though.
