Congrats Kid Rock and Scott Stapp. CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Red Light District has acquired a tape that shows Kid Rock and former Creed lead singer Scott Stapp engaged in explicit sex acts with several female fans. The never-before-seen video is 45 minutes long and features Kid Rock and Stapp partying and receiving oral sex from several of their groupies while touring nearly six years ago. “We obtained the tape from a third party,” Red Light District president David Joseph told AVN.com. “We haven’t decided exactly when we’re releasing it, but look for it in a few months.” Kid Rock rose to superstardom after his fourth album, 1998’s “Devil Without a Cause,” went platinum seven times. He also was the former fiancée of Pamela Anderson. His next album, “Live Trucker,” is scheduled for release later this month from Atlantic Records. It is his first release since a self-titled album in 2003. Creed was one of the biggest selling rock bands of the late 1990s. Their 1999 album “Human Clay” sold 10 million copies in two years, and the track “With Arms Wide Open” won the 2001 Grammy for Best Rock Song. Creed broke up in June 2004, and Stapp released his first solo album, "The Great Divide," last November. He is scheduled to begin a North American tour next Thursday in Orlando, Fla. Red Light District gained national notoriety in 2004 for distributing celebrity sex tapes such as 1 Night in Paris (featuring Paris Hilton), which is the one of the best-selling adult videos of all time, and 1 Night In China (featuring former pro wrestler Chyna). According to published reports, Stapp got married for a second time last weekend in Miami, and hours after the wedding he was arrested on charges of public drunkenness at Los Angeles International Airport. I'm surprised that there isn't an entire aisle in your favorite video store of "lewd behavior" of all your fave bands nowdays. I guess some fans just respect their fave bands more than others. He preaches about his christianity and how it leads him through life, he sings about it, and then he goes and gets trashed and gets in fights with other bands, with his own band, with security at an airport, and now he has a sex tape which occured with groupies at the time he was married and singing about his newborn son. Do I really think this will hurt Kid Rocks image? Hell no, this is his fanbase's image of Kid Rock. This is no big deal. Do I think this will hurt Scott Stapps image? Do you know how popular Scott Stapp and Creed were in 1999? Do you know how popular Scott Stapp is now? Its not even a point of contention, Stapp fell off the map faster than Wile E Coyote in the past 5 years. This is just icing on the cake. Steff, have you ever heard of Motley Crue, Van Halen, Def Leppard, Led Zeppelin...ummmm...almost every band in the world. There is no shortage of "stories" out there, and word is that Def Leppard were the best at the groupie game. My band wasn't big AT ALL, and yeah, I got mobbed walking off the stage a few times. I never did anything, as I hate groupies and anybody who "swoons" over "star power", but the option was there. Have long hair and play in a band? Yeah, it's real hard to "get lucky".
