Wow, those are some great photos.  I thought Sportsline was only using thumbnail-sized pictures?  Unfortunately, I'm not seeing any White Sox photos there at all.

As far as I have seen they've only had high quality shots for OAK, TB, WAS and TOR. They put up the first photos for the A's, Nats and Blue Jays today so they're starting to make progress. I expect Sox photos by the end of the week.

they put up high quality pics first, then usually go back and make them the fixed size. which means, you have to be there at right time to get 'em. if the pic has a black border around it, it almost always is the fixed size...

Dressed in drag portraying Paula Abdul on "American Idol", San Francisco Giants' left fielder Barry Bonds, center, participates in a rookie hazing spoof of the hit television show beside pitcher Jeff Fassero, left, as Simon Cowell, and second baseman Ray Durham as judge Randy Jackson prior to a Major League baseball spring training workout Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006, in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Bonds takes a turn as Paul Abdul

Chronicle Staff Report

Tuesday, February 28, 2006

Scottsdale, Ariz -- (02-28) 11:31 PST "Dancing with the Stars" might be too much for Barry Bonds' knee to take, but "American Idol"? No problem. Dressing up as Paula Abdul? Pass the wig.

Bonds took the Paula Abdul role Tuesday as the Giants' veterans took a break from spring training to haze their rookies, and put themselves up for some ridicule as well. In "Giants Idol," the brainchild of new Giant Mark Sweeney, all players and training staff members in their first major-league training camp have to get up on the Giants dugout at Scottsdale Stadium and perform for a three-person judging panel.

Hosting the event and playing the part of Ryan Seacrest was shortstop Omar Vizquel. Playing the part of Randy Jackson was second baseman Ray Durham. Playing the part of Simon Cowell was pitcher Jeff Fassero. And playing the part of Abdul, dressed in full drag and with fake breasts under his strapless get-up, was Barry Bonds. Five prospects plus the training staff interns performed Tuesday morning at Scottsdale Stadium.
